With funds verified and held safely in escrow, the seller can finally do the one thing they were waiting to be sure about: ship. This is Step 6 of our EscrowPK workflow series.

When is a seller allowed to ship the item?

Only after EscrowPK has verified the buyer's deposit — never before. That order matters: it's what removes the seller's biggest risk, shipping first and hoping payment shows up later.

What does the seller need to do at this stage?

The seller ships the item, or begins the service or delivery, and adds tracking or delivery details on the deal, so the buyer — and EscrowPK — can see progress without either side having to chase updates by phone or message.

What if the deal is a service, not a physical item?

The same principle applies: the seller proceeds with the service only once the deposit is verified, and updates the deal with delivery details or proof of work as it's completed, rather than a courier tracking number.
