EscrowPK Workflow, Step 5: How Deposit Verification Works
By the EscrowPK Team · 2026-07-29 · 5 min read
This is the step that quietly does most of the work of keeping EscrowPK safe: nobody ships until a human being has actually confirmed the money is real and matches the deal. This is Step 5 of our workflow series.

Who verifies the deposit, and how?
EscrowPK's team manually reviews every deposit against the payment proof the buyer submits — checking the amount, the reference, and the account it came from — before marking it verified. This isn't an automated rubber stamp; a person actually checks it.
Why manually review every single deposit?
Automated systems can be tricked with doctored screenshots or mismatched references — manual review closes that gap. It also lets EscrowPK flag anything unusual for a closer look before it becomes a problem for either party, rather than after.
What happens if something looks off with a deposit?
A deposit that doesn't clearly match the deal is held for further review rather than approved by default — protecting the seller from shipping against a payment that isn't actually confirmed, and protecting the buyer from any confusion about what they've paid.
Once a deposit is verified, the seller is cleared to move — which is exactly what Step 6 covers next. Create a deal on EscrowPK.com and see the verification step in action.
